It’s Lunar New Year!
Year of the Snake
In 2025, Lunar New Year celebrations will take place from January 29th to February 12th, ushering in the Year of the Wood Snake. The Snake (蛇), the sixth animal in the 12-year Chinese zodiac cycle, holds a rich and multifaceted symbolism in Chinese culture.

Thank you, Dragon. Welcome, Snake!
Lunar New Year is the most widely celebrated Chinese holiday in the world. The Chinese Lunar New Year is rooted in the lunar calendar based on the monthly cycles of the Moon's phases. It starts with the New moon on the first day of the first lunar month and ends on the Full moon 15 days later.
Each new year is represented by an animal, and the nature of the animal gives us insight into the year ahead.
From January 29 to February 12, we welcome in the Year of the Wood Snake.
